ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL WILD ANIMAL REMOVAL

When it comes to wild animal removal, there’s nothing like the feeling of knowing you saved someone’s home and saved an animals life in the process.

And here’s another case where we were called to remove a family of squirrels that set up shop in a family’s attic. When we arrived to take care of the wild animal removal, we were lucky the mother wasn’t there at the time. While she was away we took care of the following:

Interestingly enough, we’re in late June now so this batch of babies is either really late or really early since squirrels have 2 litters per year. They usually have them in the early spring and late summer which makes this an interesting find.

WHAT DO I DO IF A WILD ANIMAL IS IN MY ATTIC?

Call the professional. Removing a wild animal seems like an easy process but when it comes to all the possible things that can go wrong, it’s not worth the risk. Our team is fully trained in wildlife removal and prevention procedures. They were the proper protective clothing and always handle wild animals with the utmost care. Each team member is also skilled and trained in properly securing an entry point and ensuring your home is protected – and not destroyed further in the process.

If you decide to remove the animal yourself or call a non-accredited company to take care of the removal, you would either end up exposing yourself to disease, or you could end up paying double your money the following year.

I can be exposed to disease from wildlife?

Every year there are cases of people who made a wild animal removal attempt and have been bitten by the animal or have picked up one disease or another after being exposed to it. It’s not safe.

What kind of diseases can you get from wildlife?

  1. avian influenze from birds
  2. lime disease from ticks that live on wild animals
  3. west nile virus from bats or birds
  4. rabies which can be caught from raccoons, skunks, foxes, bats and squirrels

That list alone should be enough to hinder you from trying to remove a wild animal by yourself but there’s also another reason. We at All Wildlife Removal not only secure the area, but we setup an environment where the mother can always get access to her litter and take them elsewhere. An example of this is the hot box.

WHY WILL I PAY DOUBLE NEXT YEAR?

Our experience has proven that if you don’t secure a home properly and close up all lose ends, wild animals will find their way back into your home the following year. Not only that, but if the job isn’t done right, your home could end up being damaged.

In one of our jobs we found the animal had not only gotten back in the home but the previous company also damaged the roof which started leaking.

So like what happened on this job – we do this several times a day, all across Ontario. Call the experts and get the job done right.
