OLDER JOB REPORTS MILTON - January 09, 2009. Raccoons living in attic of local home, causing disturbance, damage, and exposure to contamination. All Wildlife located entry point and installed a 1-way door to allow raccoon(s) to exit and not re-enter, also screened any and all other potential entry points on the home. BURLINGTON - January 02, 2009. Squirrels were chewing through top of roof vents to gain entry to attic where they are happy to breed and infest ad nauseum. All Wildlife built boxes to cover all the roof vents with a 16 gauge metal that squirrels cannot chew through. A 1-way door was installed on one of the vents to ensure the squirrels can still exit the attic but not re-enter. BURLINGTON - December 17, 2008. Birds are roosting on customer’s roof and in soffits leaving mass amounts of droppings on cars and walkway. Our solution was to install bird spikes in the designated areas to prevent birds from landing and or roosting in problem areas. BURLINGTON - December 10, 2008. An apartment dweller encountered a bat tucked into the rails of their sliding balcony door this morning. The bat was wedged under the door and clearly hypothermic. All Wildlife was called into safely remove the bat, minimizing the risk of rabies infection, which is the biggest danger when collecting stray bats. A little known fact is that a rabid bat will spit, and if their infected saliva touches any mucus membranes, such as the eyes or lips, infection is not uncommon. CARLISLE - December 02, 2008. Red Squirrels had taken up residence in a customer's attic. All Wildlife located the entry point and installed a 1-way door to allow squirrels to exit but not re-enter, also screen up all other potential entry points on the entire home, giving customer 3 year guarantee that animals will not gain entry anywhere on home. OAKVILLE - November 15, 2008. An otherwise lovely local home contained contaminated insulation due to raccoon urine and feces. All Wildlife bagged and removed all contaminated insulation. Blow all new insulation in to the places the insulation was removed, back to an R-60 value. OAKVILLE - September 16, 2008. Raccoons had invaded the attic of a family home. They were leaving droppings and contaminating the insulation. All Wildlife removed the raccoons and replaced the contaminated insulation. New screens were put in place along with a one-way door. WATERDOWN- September 15, 2008. A raccoon had removed a roof vent to gain access to the attic of a local home. All Wildlife was called in to install new screens on all roof vents and potential entry points. A one-way door was installed to ensure the raccoon would not regain access to the attic the next time he ventures out. OAKVILLE - September 9, 2008. Squirrels had chewed through the soffit of an Oakville residence. Screening was installed along with a one-way door. This will allow the squirrel to exit, but not re-enter. OAKVILLE - September 6, 2008. A squirrel had run into the kitchen of a home through the open garage door. All Wildlife gently backed the squirrel into a room with a door, in order to get it into a smaller confined space. The room`s window was opened and All Wildlife positioned outside with a net. Fortunately the squirrel jumped directly out the window into a tree. OAKVILLE - September 6, 2008. Raccoons had torn open the soffit above the garage of a family home in order to gain access to the attic. All Wildlife performed an inspection of the home for other entry points. At the known entry point, a one-way door was installed. This will allow the raccoon to exit but prevent him from getting back into the attic. BURLINGTON - September 4, 2008. A skunk had moved in under the porch of a local home. All Wildlife dug a trench around the porch and installed screening with a one-way door. WATERDOWN - September 3, 2008. Red squirrels had chewed through the siding of a local residence. All Wildlife inspected the entire home for any openings as big as a golf ball or larger. Any potential entry points were screened, and a one-way door was installed at the point of entry. BURLINGTON - September 3, 2008. Several squirrels were nesting in the exhaust vent on the roof of a house. Box screens were built and installed to seal the vents. The boxes included one-way doors to allow the squirrels to exit but not re-enter. OAKVILLE - September 1, 2008. Raccoons had infested the attic of a family home, contaminating the insulation. All Wildlife was called in to handle the task of animal removal and cleanup. All contaminated insulation was removed. New insulation was blown throughout the attic to restore a valve of R40. HAMILTON - August 12, 2008. Complaint of bat feces, which causes numerous health risks when allowed to build up. All Wildlife installed screens and caulk to the entire perimeter of the building where needed. One-way doors were installed to allow the bats to exit, but not re-enter. The door can be removed after a one-year minimum. LOWVILLE - August 12, 2008. A family of raccoons had removed the roof vents and taken up residence in the attic of a rural home. All Wildlife installed specialized, wire-gauge "box-screens" around all roof vents, save one which had a one-way door installed to cut off the raccoons' intrusion of the house. Once the last raccoon has been shut out with the one-way door, that vent will be replaced and also covered with a box-screen. MISSISSAUGA - August 11, 2008. Damage to a family home from squirrels chewing through wood and soffit at the corner of the house. All Wildlife screened these and all similar areas on the house. All roof vents and plumbing were screened. One-way doors were installed, which is the best way to allow an animal to leave but not re-enter the home. OAKVILLE - August 7, 2008. A raccoon had torn open the soffit at the meeting point of the two rooflines, and was living in the attic. All Wildlife carefully screened all roof vents. A one-way door was installed at the raccoon's point of entry. The raccoon left the residence one hour later, and as designed, could not get back in. ETOBICOKE - July 25, 2008. Squirrels chewing away at the soffits and getting inside a home. All Wildlife screened the roof vents and all vulnerable areas around the house. A one-way door was installed to prevent the squirrels getting back inside. MILTON - July 17, 2008. Skunks were digging in the garden of a home, and living under a space at the back of the house with four babies. Smell was spreading throughout the home. All Wildlife was called in to dig a trench around the structure where the skunks are living, and install screening around the perimeter. A one-way door was installed on the perimeter. When the skunks are gone All Wildlife will install screening to replace the one-way door. OAKVILLE - June 23, 2008. A baby raccoon had torn off a vent cover at ground level and entered the cold room of the house through a vent pipe. The infant animal could not reach the vent to make his exit. All Wildlife gently removed the baby raccoon and released him at the edge of the nearby forest. All Wildlife then installed new ground-level screens. OAKVILLE - June 5, 2008. Families of raccoons were causing considerable damage to the attic in a family home. Mainly the insulation was being compacted down by raccoon traffic, which reduces the R valve of the insulation. There was also contamination in multiple areas of insulation due to the presence of raccoon urine and feces. All Wildlife removed all contaminated insulation and replaced with new material. Compacted or matted areas of the existing insulation were raked and fluffed to restore the R valve. OAKVILLE - June 2, 2008. Mice were inside a home, getting into cupboards and the food inside. All Wildlife screened and caulked all gaps around the perimeter of the home. One way doors were installed to prevent the mice from regaining access. BURLINGTON - May 27, 2008. A warehouse in Burlington had birds nesting in the exhaust vent. Smells from urine and feces caused nausea and headaches in employees. All Wildlife Removal was called in, and started by gently removing the nest and placing it safely outside the building. This way the mother bird can still find her babies. New screens were installed to the outside of the vents, in order to prevent the birds from getting back in. BURLINGTON - May 25, 2008. Raccoons were damaging the insulation in a local home, saturating it with urine and feces. All Wildlife Removal first secured the animals, and then removed all damaged insulation. New insulation was blown through the entire attic. All odors were eliminated, and the R-valve restored. OAKVILLE - May 21, 2008. Squirrels had infested a local business and were living in the drop-ceiling of the office. All Wildlife came in to re-screen trouble areas and install a one-way door. BURLINGTON - May 20, 2008. A local home suffered damage when raccoons intruded. The raccoons gained entry by chewing through a soft area of the soffit where the rooflines meet, and were living in the attic. All Wildlife Removal solved the problem by installing a one-way door which will prevent the raccoon from re-entering after his next foray outside. BURLINGTON - May 5, 2008. Complaint of squirrels living in the attic of a local home. Upon inspection the squirrel`s entry point was discovered at the intersection of two roof lines. New screening was installed on all roof vents and plumbing mains. A one-way door was installed in order to allow the squirrel to exit, but not re-enter. BURLINGTON - May 3, 2008. Families of raccoons were living under the front porch of a family house. The wild animals were causing great damage by digging in the garden. All Wildlife Removal dug a one foot by one foot trench around the porch and installed screening with a one-way door. The raccoons will be able to vacate the space under the porch, but not re-enter. OAKVILLE - April 30, 2008. A raccoon had dug a hole in the back yard, in order to make a home under the deck. All Wildlife Removal dug a trench all around the deck and installed screening with a one-way door. The raccoon exited within one day and was locked out for good. |
