On May 13, 2010 our technician inspected the home of Vince in Hamilton, Ontario.  A Raccoon mother and babies were found in the attic.  There were multiple entries through roof/soffit intersections and damage to multiple downspouts which the mother raccoon had been using to climb up to the roof.  Our technicians returned on may 14th to begin the eviction.  A One Way Door was installed at the main entry and prevention work was completed on all roof/soffit intersections, venting and down spouts.  On May 15th our technicians returned again and found that the mother had been evicted from the home.  We quickly entered the attic to search for the babies.  The babies were found and relocated to a baby box outside of the home so that mother could come back to relocate them.  Once the babies were out of the attic, a final inspection allowed us to determine the amount of insulation that was contaminated with feces and nesting material.  We returned a final time on the 17th to suck out the contaminated material, clean the attic, apply decontamination spray and re-insulate to an R-50 value.  The customer was satisfied with the speed and quality of our work and guaranteed against re-entry.
