In this case, we were called out to a home that had a mouse infestation–they had mice living with the family right in their kitchen under their dishwasher. For these mice, before we removed them, they enjoyed easy access to cupboards, falling bits of food and crumbs and in the winter, some serious heat when the dishwasher was running.

For this particular case, we were able to determine that the mice were living there for quite some time. There were plenty of droppings, lots of big balls of fur and the mice themselves were quite large. Having easy access to food during the night can keep a family of mice fed for quite some time.
